The Eyes of Raymond Hu presents 42 fascinating brush paintings of animals by Raymond Hu, a nineteen-year-old artist living in the San Fransisco Bay Area. Born with Down Syndrome, Raymond has developed a unique style of painting and his work has received much critical acclaim.
He has concentrated on painting animals, painting them up close in a manner reminiscent of portraiture. His paintings of animals, rendered in bold and spirited strokes with soulful gazes, are imbued with movingly human qualities and emotions.
